UID — Universal Identity Drayker — is the primary system design for identity: the super app meant to serve as the basis for the applications built on the Drayker platform.
One identity that can move through many applications without losing its context, its history or its contributions.
Role in the system
- Identity — a shared model so that applications recognise a participant the same way instead of each inventing its own account.
- Interface — UID is described as the primary interface for applications built across the platform.
- Continuity — identity, context and contribution stay connected as people move between systems.
It sits on the Dk foundation and connects to DAF, where contribution turns into federative points and voting power.
State of this documentation
This is a design direction and an open room, not a service you can sign in to. The repository exists so the model can be discussed, researched and documented in public: important questions about universal identity, documentation, proposals, research and data all belong in its issues.
Nothing here is specified yet. For a system whose entire premise is that strangers can cooperate, how identity works is not a detail to postpone — which is exactly why the discussion is public.
Contributing
Open an issue. Prior art, objections and threat models are as welcome as proposals. Issues small enough for one person to finish carry the open-function label and appear on the board at drayker.org.
